It's crazy of how if you work your as*
off in America You can make money, you can go in the rise and you
can go and create a career for yourself all you have to do is just have a
vision and have that will and that fire in your belly to be able to put it
off
Governor-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger i finally arrived here in 1968. I
remember arrived here with empty pockets but full of dreams, full
of determination, full of desire I was born in 1947 in Austria after the Second World
War and I didn't really like Austria when i grew up I couldn't
wait to get out of there I couldn't see myself becoming a
farmer or a worker in a factory or anything like that. Even
though my parents wanted me to stay there and have a normal life but that
was their vision, not mine! My vision was totally different: i felt
that i was born for something special, for something unique, for something
BIG! Growing up like the way i did poor... and with none of those
luxuries.. All of those things made you much more hungry for
success so when you grow up like that you don't shy away from
anything It took a lot of hard work but i never shied away from
work and
i think that my hunger and my desire and my fire in
the belly and that "Nothing could stop me!" I think that
comes from growing up the way i did. You know how great it felt that i
knew where I was going? Imagine the majority of people don't know
where they're going I knew where i was going
that I’m going to become this
bodybuilding champion! so it was just a question of how do you do
it I was so relieved because when you have a goal, when you
have a vision - everything becomes easy! I was always so hungry for
perfection and so hungry for being bigger and better and lifting
more and performing better and all those things I think you need that in
order to be successful. Whenever someone said to me "it can't be
done" i heard "it can be done!" when they say
"no" i heard "yes!" And when they said "it's impossible"
i heard "it is possible..!
